- Cohesion: flow of content, elimination of personal language, establishing a scholarly tone and academic register.
- Correct citation according to style guide used in specific department.
- Checking that in-text citations match the reference list (and vice versa).

How I Work
- I need to see a sample of the document to ascertain the level of editing and/or proofreading that will be required.
- I will need to know the number of words in the document as I prefer to quote per word rather than per page or per hour.
- I will then need the full document to be emailed to me in MS word as I work using ‘track changes’.
Payment:
I require 50% payment as a deposit prior to commencing the work. The remaining 50% is due upon completion.
Rates:
These are guided by the SAFREA rates for editing and proofreading. I do have a sliding scale for rates, so that longer documents are edited at a reduced rate. Please contact me, to get a quote.
